In view of the statement made in paragraph No.6 of the additional Affidavit dated 16.01.2026, the objection raised by Officer on Special Duty on 13.01.2026 requiring the order of Court for seeking dispensation of the inventory in locker No.449 stands allowed. 4.

Further as requested by the Petitioner in paragraph No.7 of the additional Affidavit dated 16.01.2026, Petitioner is permitted to delete the reference to the 'Locker No.449' mentioned at serial No.5 in the Schedule - I of the Petition.

Necessary amendment is permitted to be carried forthwith. Department / Registry shall allow Advocate for Petitioner to carry out amendment. Reverification stands expressly dispensed with. 6.

Once the aforesaid compliance is done, Department shall consider the Petition for issuance of Grant and ensure that same is determined within a period of two weeks positively. 7.

Praecipe is disposed.
