1. Perused Petition. Heard Ld. Advocate for petitioner. This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain debts and securities belonging to deceased filed by petitioners namely Sebastian Almeida and Stephanie Joseph Fernandes being brother and sister of deceased respectively. Deceased namely Joseph John Kanute died intestate at Mumbai on 10.07.2024. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Identification proof of deceased viz. copy of Aadhaar Card is already annexed to the petition.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that parents of deceased predeceased the deceased. Deceased died as bachelor. One sister of deceased namely Ruby died leaving behind her husband and one son. Deceased was survived by one brother, one sister and one nephew. Out of them brother and sister are petitioners herein and nephew has given his consent in favour of petitioner herein. Consent Affidavit is on record. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 01.12.2025 is filed. Administration Bond dated 22.12.2025 is filed however, the name of surety is not mentioned in 1st para of the said Administration Bond hence, Advocate to take steps accordingly. Delay is explained and same is condoned.

4. Liberty to move for listing the matter on compliance of requisition stated in Bold hereinabove.
