1. Perused Petition. Heard Ld. Advocate for petitioner. This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Mihir Upendrakumar being son of deceased No. 2 and grandson of deceased No. 1. Deceased No. 1 namely Sushilaben Chandrakant Mehta died intestate at Mumbai on 21.06.2014. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Petitioner has filed Affidavit dated 22.11.2025 for nonavailability of identification proof of deceased which is already annexed to the petition. The same is accepted. Deceased No. 2 namely Upendrakumar Chandrakant Mehta died intestate at Mumbai on 28.06.2025. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Identification proof of deceased viz. copy of Aadhaar Card is already annexed to the petition.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that parents of deceased No. 1 predeceased the deceased. Husband of deceased No. 1 predeceased the deceased. Deceased No. 1 had one son who died on 28.06.2025, who is deceased No. 2 herein, leaving behind his widow, one son and one daughter. Deceased No. 1 is survived by one daughter-in-law, one grandson and one granddaughter. Out of them grandson is petitioner herein and the daughter-in-law and granddaughter have givn their consents in favour of petitioner herein and Consent Affidavits are on record. There are no other legal heirs.

Parents of deceased deceased No. 2 predeceased the deceased. Deceased No.2 is survived by his widow, one son and one daughter. Out of them son is petitioner herein and the widow and daughter have given their consents in favour of petitioner herein. Consent Affidavits are on record only securities with respect to deceased No. 2. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 08.01.2026 and Administration Bond dated 11.01.2026 are filed. Delay is explained and same is condoned. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
