The Petitioner seeks issuance of a Legal Heirship Certificate under Section 2 of the Bombay Regulation VIII of 1827, in respect of the deceased Tejashree Vijay Samant. 2.

The deceased died intestate, at Mumbai on or about 10th November 2021, leaving her as the only surviving legal heir and next of kin as specifically set out in Paragraph no. 4 of the Petition.

He further submits that the Legal Heirship Certificate is sought to claim pension due to the deceased as specified in

25-MPT-231-2025.DOC Paragraph no. 7 of the Petition. It is also submitted that, as the Petitioner is the sole legal heir, there is no requirement to file any consent affidavit.

In view of the aforesaid submissions and the material placed on record, I find no impediment in allowing the Petition. The Petition is allowed.

The requirement of proclamation is dispensed with. 6.

The Petitioner shall compensate any party who is prejudiced or affected by passing of this Order. 7.
