This Petition is filed for issuance of Legal Heirship Certificate under the provisions of Bombay Regulation Act, 1827 in respect of one Vijay Ganpat Valvi, who passed away on 31st August 2011. A copy of the death certificate is annexed to the Petition as Exhibit 'A'.

The deceased died intestate. Husband of Petitioner predeceased her on 17th September, 1992. The legal heirs and next of kin of the deceased in terms of Section 15(a) of the Hindu Succession Act, 1956 are mentioned in paragraph No.5 of the Petition. The Petitioner's Advocate submits that

12-MPT-297-25.DOC this Petitioner is not seeking Legal Heirship Certificate for any movable or immovable property or for any monetory gain. The statement is accepted.

Upon hearing the submissions and perusing the petition I find no impediment in issuance of heirship certificate.

Petition is allowed in terms of prayer, which reads thus: "This Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a legal heirship certificate to the petitioner under the provisions of Bombay Regulation VIII of 1827 certifying that the Petitioner viz.Kamla Ganpat Valvi only surviving legal heirs of deceased Vijay Ganpat Valvi."
