In view of the fact that Petitioner is women covered under the provisions of Section 46 of the Maharashtra Stamps Act, 1967 and the extant Government Notification dated 07.08.2024 issued by the State of Maharashtra shall be entitled to payment of reduced Court fees to the extent of Rs.10,000/- only.

Mr. Dhoble informs the Court that Petitioner has already paid ad-valorem Court fees of Rs.75,000/-. In that view of the matter, Department is directed to issue refund certificate of Rs.65,000/- forthwith on the basis of server copy of this order to the Petitioner and at the highest within a period of two weeks from today.

Once said certificate is issued, the timeline passed in order dated 23.12.2025 in the case of Kantilal Bhaichandas Shah (Deceased) Krishna Virendra Shah (Petitioner)1 shall apply and concerned Collector, Mumbai City or Collector, MSD as also concerned in-charge of Pay and Accounts Office at Bandra shall adhere strictly to the timeline and ensure that refund is made to the Petitioner. 6.
