By this Chamber Order the Applicant seeks permission to serve the citation upon Prerna Deepak Puri of the deceased by way of substituted service as per schedule annexed to the Chamber Order.

Perused the schedule. The Applicant applies for publication of citation in two newspapers viz. "Free Press Journal" in English Language and in "Yashobhoomi" in vernacular language i.e. Hindi, widely circulated in Mumbai.

Perused the affidavit in support. The Applicant has stated in the affidavit that, the citation is sent for service upon Prerna Deepa Puri through Sheriff of Bombay was returned unserved with a remark "insufficient address". It is further stated that, the despite enquiries made with the relatives of the deceased regarding present whereabouts the said legal heirs no further details or information could not be ascertained. The Applicant, therefore, requested to permit her to publish the citation in two newspapers viz. "Free Press Journal" in English Language and in "Yashobhoomi" in vernacular language i.e. Hindi, widely circulated in Mumbai.

Heard. Ld. Advocate for the Applicant submits that, the citation is sent for service upon Prerna Deepak Puri through Sheriff of Bombay was returned unserved with a remark "insufficient address". He further submits that, the despite enquiries made with the relatives of the deceased regarding present whereabouts the said legal heirs no further details or information could not be ascertained. He further submits that, the bailiff has filed an affidavit of service dated 3rd October 2025. He, therefore, prays that, the Chamber Order be allowed.

Perused para 8 of the Petition. For the reasons mentioned in the affidavit in support the Chamber Order is allowed. Applicant to publish the citation in two newspapers viz. "Free Press Journal" in English Language and in "Yashobhoomi" in vernacular language i.e. Hindi, widely circulated in Mumbai, by way of substituted service of citation upon Prerna Deepak Puri of the deceased within four weeks from the date of uploading this Order. Applicant to file the affidavit of publication once the citation is published within two weeks thereafter.
