1. The present Chamber Order is taken out to serve the Writ of Summons upon (1) Madanlal Gupta, Defendant No.2, (2) Vinod V. Thakkar, Defendant No.3 and (3) State of Maharashtra, Department of Revenue, Defendant No.4 by way of substituted service as per the Schedule annexed to the Chamber Order.

Perused Schedule. The Applicant / Plaintiff is seeking permission to publish the Writ of Summons in two newspapers viz. "Free Press Journal" in English Language and in "Navbharat" in vernacular language i.e. Hindi and by affixing the copy of Writ of Summons on conspicuous part of the last known address of Defendant Nos.2 and 3 and to serve Writ of Summons upon the Defendant No.4 by hand delivery / registered Post A.D..

Heard, the Ld. Advocate for the Plaintiff. He submits that she submits that the Applicant / Plaintiff be permitted to serve the Writ of Summons by way substituted service as per Schedule annexed to the Chamber Order, upon Defendant Nos.2, 3 and 4. She therefore prays that the Chamber Order be allowed.

For the reasons stated in Affidavit dated 21st January, 2025 annexed to the Chamber Order, the present Chamber Order is allowed, and the same is signed separately. Publication of Writ of Summons to be done in two newspapers viz. (1) "Free Press Journal" in English and (2) "Navbharat" in Hindi language, within two weeks from the date of uploading the order.
