The present Chamber Order is taken out by the Applicant to serve citation upon Ms. Loretta Das, Sister of the deceased, by way of substituted service as per the Schedule annexed to the Chamber Orders.

Perused Schedule. The Applicant / Petitioner is seeking permission to publish citation in two newspapers viz. "Free Press Journal" in English Language and in "Navshakti" in vernacular Language i.e. Marathi. Perused the affidavit in support dated 8th July, 2025 annexed to the Chamber Order. It is stated in the affidavit that, the deceased died as Bachelor and parents of the deceased are also predeceased the deceased and no close legal heirs and the deceased is survive by one sister viz. Ms. Loretta Das. It is further stated that the Applicant has tried to serve upon the said legal heirs at her last known address but could not serve the citation as she was not residing at the said address.
The Applicant has further stated that she does not know whereabouts of the above named sister of the deceased and she had made diligence search for getting address for knowing heirs and relatives but none have been found. The Applicant, therefore, requested to permit her to publish the Citation in newspapers viz. "Free Press Journal" in English Language and in "Navshakti" in vernacular Language i.e. Marathi.

Heard. The Ld. Advocate for the Applicant / Petitioner submits that, the deceased died as Bachelor and parents of the predeceased the deceased. He further submits that Ms. Loretta Das, Sister of the deceased married and residing at some other place and the address is not known to the Applicant. He further submits that the Applicant has made diligent search for the legal heirs and their addresses but nothing has been found. He, therefore, prays that Chamber Order be allowed.

Perused the para 11 of the Petition and the averments mentioned in the affidavit in support.

For the reasons stated in the affidavit in support of Chamber Order and averments made in the petition the Chamber Order is allowed. The Applicant is directed to publish the citation in two newspapers viz. "Free Press Journal" in English Language and in "Navshakti" in vernacular Language i.e. Marathi, within six weeks from the date of the uploading this Order.

Office is directed to issue fresh citation, if required. 7.
Applicant to file affidavit of publication annexing therewith the newspapers within two weeks once the publication is done.
