By this Chamber Order the Applicant seeks permission to serve the citation upon (1) Anita Picardo, Wife of late Alexander Picardo, (Brother of the deceased), (2) Sabitha Picardo, (3) Anjali Picardo, (4) Geeta Picardo and (5) Sonia Picardo, Daughters of late Alexander Picardo, (Brother of the deceased), (6) Daphne Furtado,

(7) Decima Furtado, (8) Diana Furtado, Daughters of late Winnifred Furtado, (Sister of the deceased), (9) Ralph Furtado and (10) Tony Furtado, Sons of late Winnifred Furtado, (Sister of the Deceased) by way of substituted service as per schedule annexed to the Chamber Order.

Perused the schedule. The Applicant applies for publication of citation in two newspapers viz. "City Hilights" in English Language and in "Udayakala" in vernacular language i.e. Kannada .

Perused the affidavit in support. The Applicant has stated in the affidavit in support that, the deceased was a widow and has no children and her parents are predeceased to her. It is further stated that, after the death of the deceased the Applicant/

Petitioner had searched to locate the relatives and known persons of the deceased but she did not get any information of them. The Applicant, therefore, requested to permit her to publish the citation in two newspapers viz. "City Hilights" in English Language and in "Udaykala" in vernacular language i.e. Kannada having circulation in Udupi.

Heard. Ld. Advocate for the Applicant submits that, the deceased was a widow and has no children and her parents are predeceased to her. He further submits that, after the death of the deceased the Applicant/ Petitioner had searched to locate the relatives and known persons of the deceased but she did not get any information of them. He, therefore, prays that the Chamber Order be allowed.

Perused para 8 of the Petition. For the reasons mentioned in the affidavit in support the Chamber Order is allowed. Applicant to publish the citation in two newspapers viz. "City Hilights" in English Language and in "Udaykala" in vernacular language i.e. Kannada widely circulated in Udupi, by way of substituted service upon (1) Anita Picardo, Wife of late Alexander Picardo, (Brother of the deceased), (2) Sabitha Picardo, (3) Anjali Picardo, (4) Geeta Picardo and (5) Sonia Picardo, Daughters of late Alexander Picardo, (Brother of the deceased), (6) Daphne Furtado,

(7) Decima Furtado, (8) Diana Furtado, Daughters of late Winnifred Furtado, (Sister of the deceased), (9) Ralph Furtado and (10) Tony Furtado, Sons of late Winnifred Furtado, (Sister of the Deceased) within four weeks from the date of uploading this Order. Applicant to file the affidavit of publication once the citation is published within two weeks thereafter.
