Heard learned counsel for the official liquidator. 2.
This Official Liquidator's Report (OLR) No. 10 of 2025 is filed for seeking the following directions :
"(a) In view of para (9) & (11) of this report, whether this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to permit the Official Liquidator to make the payment of professional fees to Ms. Debjani Mitra Neogy, Advocate to a sum of Rs.1,21,000/- (Rupees One Lakhs Twenty One Thousand Only) and further permit to pay the Professional Fees of Ms. Debjani Mitra Neogy, Advocate as per above mentioned scale that may be raised by her in future out of funds of the Company (In Liqn.) subject to deduction of TDS and other applicable taxes, if any. bipin prithiani 910-olr-10.25.doc (b) In view of para (10) of this report, this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to ratify the action of Official Liquidator for appointing Advocate Debjani Mitra in said Writ Petition Application No. 30760 of 2024 and also be pleased to permit the Official Liquidator to make the payment of professional fees towards Writ Petition Application No. 30760 of 2024 to Ms. Debjani Mitra Neogy, that may be raised by her in future out of funds of the Company (In Liqn.) subject to deduction of TDS and other applicable taxes, if any.
And (c) For such other and further directions as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper."

In the context of the above quoted prayers, this Court has considered the contents of the OLR. It is found that sufficient documentary material is annexed to the OLR in support of the statements made in paragraph 7 onwards, as regards the concerned Advocate being engaged for appearing in the High Court of Calcutta and the Debts Recovery Tribunal, for attending to matters on behalf of the office of the official liquidator. Hence, this Court is satisfied that the above quoted prayers can be granted.

Accordingly, the OLR is allowed in terms of prayer clauses (a) and (b), quoted herein above.
