This is a Petition filed under Section 14 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 in view of the demise of the Learned Sole Arbitrator conducting the proceedings.

Learned Advocate for the parties have consensus on substitution of the arbitrator by appointing Mr. Aseem Naphade, an advocate of this Court as the substitute arbitrator, and confirm having taken his consent. The substituted arbitrator is requested to take over the proceedings from the stage at which they were and issue further directions to the parties on how to proceed further. 4.
Needless to say, since the substitution is now being effected today, the first period of twelve months for the mandate of the substituted arbitrator would commence from the date on which he enters reference. To avoid any ambiguity, the parties are directed to appear before the arbitrator no later than 6:00 p.m. on February 3, 2026 to take instructions on how to proceed further. 5.
This Petition is finally disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 6.
All actions required to be taken pursuant to this order shall be taken upon receipt of a downloaded copy as available on this Court's website.
