DATED : 19th DECEMBER, 2025 P.C:- In light of the consent terms placed before the Court, involving the release of film "Revolver Rita", Section 9 petition was disposed in light of the consent terms being taken on record.
The terms dated 27/11/2025 recorded that the respondents had made payment of Rs.3,50,00,000/- (Rupees Three Crores Fifty Lakhs) to the petitioner as part payment of its dues and in the wake of this payment, the respondent shall be entitled to theoretical release the film, for the territory of the entire world.
2/3 501 CARBP 1058-25.doc The consent terms clearly recorded that the respondent had agreed and undertaken to make the payment of the balance amount payable along with the interest under Deed of Cancellation dated 11/6/2025, on or before 31/12/2025. Today, the Supplementary Consent Terms under the signature of the authorised signatory of the petitioner and the partner of respondent nos.1 and respondent no.2, being signed along with their respective Advocates are tendered before me. The consent terms dated 19/12/2025 are taken on record and marked 'X1' for identification.
The consent terms have now modified the terms relating to the balance amount due and payable to the tune of Rs.28,44,28,981/- (Rupees Twenty-Eight Crores Forty-Four lakhs Twenty-Eight thousand Nine hundred and eighty-one only) along with the interest @ 24% per annum, by dividing the same into four different tranches, the last one being payable on or before 31/3/2026.
In the wake of the aforesaid understanding reached and there is a variation in the earlier stipulation, as regards the release of film as well as the platforms on which they are permitted to be released.
Since the terms are signed by both the parties and submitted before the Court in form of "Supplementary Consent Terms" which have modified the consent terms dated
3/3 501 CARBP 1058-25.doc 27/11/2025, and it is agreed that the payments shall be made by the respondent as set out in the consent terms, the supplementary terms accepted on record, shall be treated as part of the order dated 22/11/2025.
Needless to state that the undertakings stated in the consent terms shall bind both the parties.
