The present Petition impugns an order dated 19 the Petitioner's application for registration of the mark "GRIP" in class 7 has been rejected.

Mr. Sayyed, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner has tendered an affidavit of service to prove service of the captioned Petition on both Respondent Nos.1 and 2. Despite being served, none has appeared. 3.

Mr. Sayyed has then invited my attention to the impugned order (ExhibitA at page 36) and pointed out that the said order is an ex-facie unreasoned order. He pointed out that the impugned order ignores the fact that the Petitioner has already obtained registration of the word "GRIP" in classes 8 and

22. He further pointed out that the order is entirely bereft of any reasoning and Vaibhav

2/2 15-COMMP-124-2025 (OS).DOC that none of the contentions advanced by the Petitioner at the time of hearing have been dealt with.

Having perused the record as also the order, in my view the same is clearly ex-facie unreasoned and would therefore have to be set aside. I am standing the matter over to next week to enable the Respondents one last opportunity to appear. No further time will be granted on the next date. th April 2026 (HOB).
