For the reasons assigned in the application, duly supported by an affidavit and taking into account the fact that the expression "sufficient cause" should receive liberal consideration so as to advance cause of justice, we find that sufficient cause for condonation of delay of 14 days in filing the appeal is made out. Accordingly, the delay in filing the appeal is condoned. In the result, the interim application is allowed. 2.

Taking into account that the appellant is senior citizen, hearing of the appeal is expedited.
