The Testamentary Registrar's report dated 15th July, 2025 records a delay of approximately 13 months 7 days in filing the Caveat, as per CIS data.

It appears that the Bombay High Court migrated to the 3.0 e-filing portal following the closure of the NEAR portal in August 2024.

The Registry has informed that the complete case filing history of 2.0 portal is presently unavailable with both the Centralized Filing Department and Testamentary Department.

The Registry further informs that, by an office letter dated 8th July, 2025, the Central Project Co-ordinator ('CPC') was requested to provide the lodging details of e-filed case No.ECHCBM2222212023.

In response, the CPC forwarded an email dated 15th July, 2025 attaching a screenshot and Circular regarding the migration of e-filing module from 2.0 to 3.0. However, no filing details were provided. The Report, therefore, notes that no additional details of the filing of the above Caveat can be presently furnished.

For the purpose of determining and adjudicating upon the issue of delay in filing the Caveat, this Court requires a status report from the Central Project Co-ordinator specifying the exact date of filing of the Caveat. 7.

The CPC shall file the said report on or before 19th September 2025.

List the matter on 24th September, 2025.
