The Interim Application is filed by the Applicant praying to implead them as party Respondents in this Petition.

The Applicants are the tenants of the building in question which is a subject matter of the redevelopment, and in regard to which a challenge is mounted in the Petition assailing the orders passed by the Chief Officer of the Mumbai Building Repairs and Reconstruction Board cancelling the NOC granted in favour of the Petitioner in purported exercise of the powers under Section 91A of the MHADA Act, 1976.

We are of the opinion that the Applicants need to be made parties to this Petition. Mr. Khandeparkar, the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner has no objection. We accordingly permit the intervention. Interim Application is accordingly allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). The Applicant/Intervenors be impleaded as party Respondents.

The amendment be carried out within a period of two days from today and a copy of the amended petition be served on the parties. Re-verification is dispensed with.

The Interim Application stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. No costs.
