This is a Petition under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking an extension of mandate of the Learned Arbitral Tribunal.

Owing to multiple pleadings by the parties, the parties are doubtful about the date of completion of pleadings and consequently, the precise date on which the mandate expired. Suffice it to say, the parties are ad idem on the mandate of the Learned Arbitral Tribunal being extended by consent by a period of six months. SEPTEMBER 9, 2025 Aarti Palkar

Considering the principle of party autonomy and since the parties are desirous of extending the mandate to complete the arbitral proceedings, this Application is finally disposed of, extending the mandate of the Learned Arbitral Tribunal for a period of six months, rounding it up until March 31, 2026.

In view of disposal of the Application, nothing survives in the captioned Interim Application and the same is also disposed of accordingly.

All actions required to be taken pursuant to this order shall be taken upon receipt of a downloaded copy as available on this Court's website.
