We have heard Mr. Kamat, learned Senior counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Engineer, learned Senior Counsel for the Slum Rehabilitation Authority in Writ Petition (l) no.31178 of 2025 (Shiv Sai Developer vs. Chief Executive Officer SRA & Ors.) From what has been submitted before us by Mr. Engineer, the case of the SRA appears to be that there are several suppressions as made in these petitions. Such contention of Mr. Engineer is being opposed by Mr. Kamat. 2.
In these circumstances, it is imperative that a reply affidavit on behalf of the SRA be placed on record and a copy of the same be served on the petitioners well in advance. Only thereafter, we can hear the parties and pass further appropriate orders considering the facts and circumstances of the case. Let such affidavit be filed within two weeks from today. Permission to file rejoinder affidavit.

List the proceedings immediately on reopening i.e. on 6 November 2025 HOB.

It is further clarified that the other petitions can also be taken up alongwith the present petition. All contentions of the parties are expressly kept open. Interim Applications 5.
Mr. Deshmukh, learned Counsel appears for the applicants / intervenors in Interim Applications which pray for impleadment of the applicants in the writ petition. Learned Counsel for the original petitioners has no objection to allow all the Interim Application and to implead the applicants in the respective petitions. 6.
Interim Applications are accordingly allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). 7.
Let amendment be carried out within 10 days from today. Reverification is dispensed with. Amended copy be served on all the parties. 8.
Respondents to file reply affidavit within two weeks from today. 9.
List the petitions on 6 November 2025. HOB.
