This matter has been circulated before this Court seeking modification of the order dated 3rd February, 2026, submitting that although this Court has permitted amendments to the Contempt Petition in terms of prayer Clause (a), however, the original Contempt Petition is not traceable in the Registry and that this Court may permit the said amendments to be carried out in the certified copy of the said Contempt Petition.

Mr. Dsouza, learned Counsel for the Contempt Petitioners submits that since the Contempt Petition was filed by an earlier Advocate, he is not aware as to why the original Contempt Petition is Digitally signed by NIKITA YOGESH GADGIL Date:

15. IA 6370-25 in CONP 3-25.doc after search that the original Contempt Petition is not traceable and that appropriate directions be obtained from the Court. 3.

This is quite a curious situation. Let the Prothonotary & Senior Master of this Court place a report before this Court as to the missing Contempt Petition after conducting an appropriate inquiry in this regard, only after which this Court may consider the request of the learned Counsel.

Let the report be placed within a period of two weeks. List on 13th March 2026.
