CORAM
: AMIT BORKAR, J.
DATED : JANUARY 6, 2026 P.C.:
1.
The petitioner challenges an order passed by the District Magistrate in exercise of powers under Rule 107(11)(d-1)(vi) of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Rules, 1961. 2.
This Court has already interpreted the nature and scope of the said power in Amit Jori v. State of Maharashtra & Ors. (Writ Petition No. 1331 of 2025, decided on 5 February 2025). In the said decision, it has been held that the exercise of such power is ministerial and executionary in nature. Therefore, a writ petition challenging such an order is not maintainable, as the order does not involve any discretionary adjudication. The petitioner's remedy lies elsewhere.

In view of the law laid down in Amit Jori (supra), the present petition cannot be entertained and is accordingly dismissed.
