By this writ petition, the petitioners are seeking a direction to respondent No.2 / Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide their tribe claim, which has been pending since 17/07/2025, expeditiously. 3.

Considering the fact that the petitioners are desirous of pursuing further education and require the caste validity certificate during the months of June-July 2026, we direct respondent No.2 / Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioners as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of four months from today.
