2.
By this writ petition, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of his caste claim.
3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, in the meanwhile, the employer of the petitioner has issued a show cause notice dated 01/02/2026 calling upon the petitioner to show cause as to why his services should not be brought to an end for nonsubmission of the caste validity certificate. 4.
Considering the fact that the petitioner apprehends termination of his services, we direct respondent No.2 / Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as
2 942 WP 333-26 expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of eight months from today.
5.
Till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided, the employer(s) of the petitioner shall not take any coercive action against the petitioner solely on the ground that the petitioner has failed to submit the caste validity certificate.
6.
Needless to state that the protection granted by this Court shall remain in operation only till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided and the petitioner shall not claim any equities on the basis of this order.
7.
With these directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. ( ABASAHEB D. SHINDE, J. ) ( SANDIPKUMAR C. MORE, J. ) VS Maind/-
