The petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs :- "a) Call for Record & Proceeding of the case, grant rule and allow this petition.
b) Issue appropriate writ, order or direction thereby quashing and setting aside the impugned order dated 31.12.2025 passed by Respondent No. 4 in the interest of justice;
c) Issue appropriate writ, order or direction thereby directing Respondent No. 4 to conduct fresh summary enquiry under Rule 9 and decide all grounds of the Objection Petition within 48 hours, strictly per law;
d) Issue appropriate writ, order or direction thereby directing Respondents to pay costs of Rs. 50,000/- to the Petitioner for appointing Resp. No. 4 an untrained officer as Returning Officer."

Mr. Sidheshwar N. Biradar, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail of statutory remedy as available in law.
