The present Writ Petition takes exception to order dated 09.12.2025 passed by Sub Divisional Officer, Omerga in Appeal No.2025/Karya-3/Jama/Kavi-750.

The petitioners are appellants in Appeal pending before Sub Divisional Officer. They assailed order passed by Tahsildar under Section 143 of Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. The Sub Divisional Officer by impugned order rejected prayer for grant of stay to order passed by Tahsildar. Hence, this petition is filed. 3.

While issuing notice in this Writ Petition, this Court granted interim relief vide order dated 13.01.2026, which states as under: "In that view of matter, till the returnable date, execution and implementation of impugned order dated 07.12.2025 passed by Sub Divisional Officer, Omerga and order dated 21.07.2025 passed by Naib Tahasildar, Omerga be kept in abeyance"

The learned Advocate appearing for respective parties jointly submit that if Appeal pending before Sub Divisional Officer is expedited, purpose would be served.

In view of submissions advanced, Writ Petition stands disposed of with direction to Sub Divisional Officer to decide pending Appeal No.2025/Karya-3/Jama/Kavi-750 within period of eight weeks from today.

Till then, interim relief granted by this Court vide order dated 13.01.2026 shall remain in force.
