Present writ petition is filed with following reliefs : "A) By issue of writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or directions in the like nature, condition no. 3 inserted in the judgment and order dated 28.11.2025 passed in Appeal No. 2025/G.A./Room No.1/ pole-1/ entertainment/ C.R.-208 by the respondent no. 3 (Exh. U) may kindly be struck down or quashed and set aside being arbitrary, unjust and improper with immediate effect.
B) By issue of writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or directions in the like nature, the respondent No.4 may kindly be directed to remove the illegal seals (Exh. T) put on premises of the petitioner from 24.10.2025 in view of the judgment and order dated 28.11.2025 passed in Appeal No. 2025/G.A./Room No.1/ pole-1/ entertainment/ C.R.-208 by the Ld. Additional Divisional Commissioner Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Division Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar with immediate effect.
C) By issue of writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or directions in the like nature, the respondent no. 4 may kindly be directed to consider the no objection
(2) certificate dated 17.12.2021 (Exh. L) and licenses dated 28.06.2022 (Exh. N colly) and the renewal of the licenses dated 11.04.2023 (Exh. R) issued in favour of petitioner are legal and valid in view of the judgment and order dated No. 28.11.2025 passed in Appeal 2025/G.A./Room No.1/pole-1/ entertainment/ C.R.- 208 by the respondent no. 3 and for that purpose issue necessary orders."

The petitioner was granted three licenses, one by District Collector and others by Executive Magistrate, Kalamb. All these licenses were cancelled by learned District Collector/Magistrate by order dated 17.10.2025 vide Outward No.2025/Deputy Secretary/MAG-1/Kavi-538. The petitioner assailed aforesaid order before Divisional Commissioner, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar under Section 33(1) of Maharashtra Police Act, 1951. The learned Divisional Commissioner after considering rival contentions partly allowed appeal thereby setting aside order dated 17.10.2025 and directed him to reconsider grant of licenses in light of observations made in his order.

It appears that although, the learned Divisional Commissioner passed order on 28.11.2025, till this date, learned District Magistrate has not acted upon the order or does not issue communication to petitioner regarding restoration of his license or otherwise.

In light of aforesaid factual backdrop, present petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to learned District Magistrate
(3) to expeditiously pass further orders in pursuance to directions issued by learned Divisional Commissioner. In result, following order is passed :
ORDER
(i) Writ Petition is partly allowed.
(ii) The learned District Magistrate, Dharashiv shall expeditiously pass necessary order in pursuance to directions contained in order dated 28.11.2025 passed by learned Divisional Commissioner, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar as regards to licenses of petitioner, and in any case within a period of four weeks from today.
