By an order dated 14 January 2026 this Court had permitted the Petitioner to appear for the written examination on 22 January 2026 for the subjects mentioned in paragraph 1 of the said order and had kept the issue of the Petitioner completing her internal continuous assessment and midterm test for the said subjects to be considered at a later stage. 2.
Thereafter, it appears that the Petitioner has not appeared for the written examination on 22 January 2026.

The learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner submits that instead of pressing for the prayers in the Petition, the Petitioner is seeking lateral entry admission to Lloyd Law College and to which a NOC would be required to be issued by Respondent No.4 - NMIMS Deemed-to-be1/3

Mr. Vishal Kanade, learned counsel appearing for the Respondent Nos.4 and 5 has submitted that Respondent No.4 - NMIMS Deemed-to-beUniversity has issued an NOC for the Petitioner studying in the NMIMS, Navi Mumbai Campus in the 2nd Year 4th Semester of B.A. LL.B which is as per the request of the Petitioner herself. She has successfully completed upto 4th Semester of B.A. LL.B. A copy of the NOC issued by the Respondent No.4 - NMIMS, Deemed-to-be-University is tendered and taken on record and marked 'X' for identification.

Mr. Kanade, has also referred to the NOC which had been issued by Lloyd Law College in which Petitioner is seeking admission to B.A. LL.B. - 3rd Year (5th Semester) and which is towards the lateral entry admission of the Petitioner to the said College.

Considering that the Petitioner is seeking the NOC from the Respondent No.4 - NMIMS Deemed-to-be-University which has been issued and a copy of which has been tendered in Court, the Respondent No.4 - NMIMS Deemed-to-be-University shall hand over original NOC dated 26 March 2026 which has been shown to this Court, to the Petitioner today. 7.
In view thereof, nothing survives in the Petition and the Petition shall be placed for withdrawal on 30 March 2026 at 3.00 pm. 8.
Mr. Rui Rodrigues, learned counsel appearing for Respondent Nos.1 and 3 has sought for speaking to the minutes of the said order dated 14 2/3

Accordingly, add the appearance of Mr. Rui Rodrigues, learned counsel for Respondent Nos.1 and 3 in the appearance column and the said order dated 14 January 2026 is corrected accordingly. Mr. Vishal Kanade has handed over the original NOC issued by the Respondent No.4 - NMIMS Deemed-to-be-University to the Petitioner in Court.

Writ Petition was kept back to 3.00 pm for the learned counsel for the Petitioner to take instructions on whether the Petitioner is withdrawing the present Writ Petition in view of this order. The learned counsel for the Petitioner upon the matter being called out has taken requisite instructions. She has sought for leave to unconditionally withdraw Writ Petition No.634 of 2026. Accordingly, leave is granted. Writ Petition No.634 of 2026 is disposed of as withdrawn upon recording that the NOC in original has been handed over to the learned Advocate for the Petitioner by Mr. Kanade, learned counsel for the Respondent Nos.4 and 5.
