Heard Mr. Aradhye, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr. Rayrikar, learned AGP appearing for respondent Nos. 1 to 3State. 2.
By the present Writ Petition, the petitioner has sought the following relief in terms of prayer clause (b), which reads thus: (b) That by appropriate Writ, Orders as well as directions of this Hon'ble Court, the Respondents more particularly the Respondent No. 3 Divisional Secretary Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education/Examination, Pune Divisional Board, Pune be ordered and directed to continue the Examination Centre being adn
913-WP-651-2026 Centre No. 536 of the Petitioner for conducting 12th Standard Examinations scheduled in the Second Week of February 2026;

However, as the 12th Standard examinations have already been conducted, the present petition has become infructuous. 4.
Mr. Aradhya, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, submits that certain directions may be required with regard to examinations to be conducted in future.

On instructions, Mr. Rayrikar, learned AGP appearing for respondent Nos. 1 to 3, states that the petitioner's junior college was not notified as an examination centre for conducting the 12th Standard examination conducted in February 2026 only on the ground that there was no requisite number of students. He further submits that if the requisite number of students are available in the ensuing academic year, the petitioner's junior college shall be considered for nomination as an examination centre for conducting the 12th Standard examination. 6.
