The Petitioner has iled an application seeking No-Objection Certiicate from the authority for sponsoring the DNB (post MBBS and post diploma) seat 2025 for National Board of Examinations. The application is iled by the Petitioner in the oice of Deputy Director of Health Services, Kolhapur Division, Kolhapur. The said Division vide its letter dated 26th December 2025 forwarded the said proposal for sanction to the Director of Health Services, Mumbai. 2.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner would submit that proposal is pending with the said authority since then and there is no response. He apprehends the procedure is already initiated and the Petitioner may loose chance to participate.

In view of this, we direct Respondent No.2 - Director of Health Services, Maharashtra State, Mumbai to pass appropriate orders on the proposal dated 26th December 2025 submitted by the Deputy Director of Health Services, Kolhapur Division in respect of the No-Objection Certiicate to be given to the Petitioner, on or before 5th February 2026.

We request Ms. Kapre, learned AGP to immediately inform the concerned authority about today's order.
