By this Writ Petition, the petitioner is seeking direction that the tribe claim of the petitioner pending since 13.06.2025 of belonging to 'Mannervarlu' Scheduled tribe be decided expeditiously. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is desirous of appearing for MBA-CET examination to be conducted in 2026 and therefore, she needs the validity certificate on or before 30.06.2026. He would further submit that the vigilance cell report filed in the case of her cousin sister has already been placed on record and he is ready to adopt the said vigilance cell report and therefore, by filing reply to the said vigilance cell report, the matter can be proceeded.

The learned AGP on the other hand, submits that the Scrutiny Committee may be required to conduct a fresh vigilance cell inquiry and by keeping that point open, if the Scrutiny Committee is directed to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner, there is no objection to it. 5.
Considering the same, we direct the respondent/Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within six months from today. 6.
