In all these Petitions, the learned Advocate for the Petitioners submits that the responsible authority/officers of the State Excise Department, District Pune, can visit the shops and inspect the premises by opening the seals. The Petitioners would show all relevant documents which are required to be maintained under the various provisions of the statute, and an inspection report may be prepared. The Petitioners would sign on the inspection report and the inspection report can then be tendered to the Court.

Mrs. Thakur, the learned AGP, representing the RespondentState, submits, on instructions, that the competent authority, along with their responsible team of officers, would visit the Petitioners' premises on 23.01.2026 at 11.00 a.m. The Petitioners and their managers, officers, employees, and workers would also remain present. 3.
Let the verification be carried out by the responsible officers, and after the report of each inspection is prepared with the signatures of the Petitioners, the reports would then be shown to the Court. ...2
