Heard Mr. Mule, learned Advocate for the Petitioners. 2.

Our attention is drawn to the order dated 4th July 2025 passed by the Bombay High Court, Bench at Aurangabad in the case of Dr. Ayesh Samar Sheikh Ateeque Ahmed & Ors. Vs. The State of Maharashtra & Anr. in Civil Writ Petition No.7975 of 2025. The copy of judgment is placed on record as Annex B (P-21 to 29). 3.

The contention of the Petitioners is that they are similarly situated students and are seeking the same relief in the present Writ adn 1 of

28-WP-877-2026 Petition, i.e., directions to decide pending representation on the file of Respondent No.3 on its own merits.

Accordingly, we direct Respondent No.3 - Dean, Government Medical College, Miraj, District Sangli, to decide the representation of the Petitioners dated 28th October 2025 within a period of six weeks from today.

It is further clarified that while deciding the representation, an opportunity of hearing be given to the Petitioners and after hearing the parties, Respondent No.3 shall pass an appropriate order with cogent reasons.

It is further clarified that Respondent No.3 shall return the documents and issue the necessary certificate after deciding the representation on it's own merit.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No order as to costs.
