Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioners. 2.

The challenge in this Petition is to an order dated 25 November 2025 passed by the Administrator in Appeal No.77 of 2025 preferred by the Petitioner against an order dated 23 April 2025 passed by the Collector, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Silvassa under Section 230 of the Dadra and Nagar Haveli Land Revenue Administration Regulation, 1971. The District Collector had, in turn, dismissed the appeal against an order dated 22 December 2021 passed by the Resident Deputy Collector, in Revision Appeal No.RD/Appeal/In 5140/2019.

In the impugned order, the Administrator has, inter alia, noted that the suits instituted by the parties are subjudice before the Civil Courts. The Petitioners have instituted Special Civil Suit No.15 of 2024 and Respondent SSP 1/2

22 wp 892 of 2026.doc Nos.1 and 2 have instituted Regular Civil Suit No.21 of 2021. The Administrator has, thus, declined to interfere with the order passed by the District Collector dated 23 April 2025.

Since the substantive suits are awaiting adjudication, it would be suffice to clarify that those suits be adjudicated by the Civil Courts on their own merits and in accordance with law, without being influenced by the observations made in the impugned order as well as the orders passed by the revenue authorities.
