The petitioner has been appointed on a reserved post meant for Scheduled Tribe and the proposal seeking tribe claim of the petitioner of belonging to "Mannervarlu" Scheduled Tribe is pending with the respondent/Scrutiny Committee, which has been submitted on 29.12.2025. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the proposal submitted by the employer of the petitioner is pending before respondent/Scrutiny Committee and in the meanwhile by show-cause notice dated 14.01.2026, the petitioner has been called upon to explain as to why the service of the petitioner shall not be brought to an end for non

In that view of the matter, we direct the respondent / Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from today. Till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided, the employer of the petitioner shall not take any coercive action against the petitioner.

We make it clear that protection granted by this Court will operate only till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided and petitioner will not claim any equity.
