The present Writ Petition takes exception to order dated 30.12.2025 passed by Collector, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in exercise of powers conferred under Maharashtra Prohibition Act. Apparently, Petitioner has an alternate remedy to file appeal before State Government. 2.

In that view of matter, Writ Petition stands disposed of with liberty to Petitioner to avail an alternate remedy, as permissible under law. In case, Petitioner avails such alternate remedy, time consumed in prosecuting present Writ Petition shall be excluded while computing the period of limitation. In case such an appeal is filed within period of two weeks from today, the Appellate Authority shall consider and decide the appeal within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
