Present writ petition takes exception to the order dated 17.12.2025 passed by the Hon'ble Minister in appeal no.VPA2025/Pra.Kra.177/P.Ra-6 whereby order passed by the Divisional Commissioner, Aurangabad under section 39 (3) of the Maharashtra Village Panhayats Act has been stayed. 2.

Apparently, substantive appeal under section 39(3) of the Act is pending before the Hon'ble Minister. In light of the statutory scheme, it is expected that such an appeal is decided within a period of one month.

Learned counsel papering for petitioner points out that while granting interim stay, further date of hearing is not

wp 966.26.odt assigned in the appeal. In that view of he matter, writ petition stands disposed off with the following directions. Hence, order. Order i.

The Hon'ble Minister is requested to decide the pending appeal within a period of four (4) weeks from today.

ii.

Parties to co-operate.

iii.

Learned AGP to communicate this order.

iv.

Needless to state that this Court has not delve into merits of the matter. All contentions kept open. v.

Writ Petition stands disposed of.
