The tribe claim of the petitioner of belonging to the "Koli Mahadev" Scheduled Tribe, has been pending with the respondent No.2/Caste Scrutiny Committee since 12/10/2023. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the tribe claim, the petitioner's employer issued a show-cause notice dated 15/12/2025, calling upon the petitioner to show cause as to why his services should not be terminated for non-submission of the caste validity certificate. 4.

Considering the same, we direct the Respondent - Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as

2 1005 wp 1030-26 expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of ten months from today.

Further, during this period of ten months, the petitioner's employer shall not take any coercive action on the ground of nonsubmission of the validity certificate. 6.

We make it clear that the protection granted by this Court shall operate only for the period specified above, i.e., ten months. 7.
