The petitioner claims that his tribe claim of belonging to 'Koli Mahadev' Scheduled Tribe is pending with respondent/Scrutiny Committee for verification since 27.02.2025.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is desirous of appearing for MHT-CET 2026 examination and needs validity certificate by the end of June 2026, we direct the respondent/Scrutiny Committee to decide the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably by the end of June 2026.
