Petitioners are the co-operative societies duly constituted under the provisions of Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960. According to Petitioners, to empower the business of Agricultural related societies, State of Maharashtra introduced "Atal Arth Sahay Yojna". Petitioners made an application to the authorities to get the beneit of Atal Financial Assistance Scheme. But there was no positive response from authorities. Hence, they made series of representations to the Respondents. Last representation was made by the Petitioners on 24th February 2020.

The District Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Kolhapur has taken cognizance of the same and forwarded the said proposal of Patil-SR 1 of

908 wp- 1243-2026.doc petitioners to the Respondent No.3-Maharashtra Co-operative Development Corporation Limited on 10th April 2023. However, the Respondent No.3 till date has not taken any decision on the said proposal. Therefore, Petitioners are before this Court. 3.

Petitioners have sought a limited prayer that their pending proposal be directed to decide by the Respondent No.3 on its own merits within a time bound period. Since the limited prayer is sought by the Petitioners before this Court, we have not issued notices to the Respondents and proceed to pass following order. 4.

Respondent No.3-Maharashtra Co-operative Development Corporation Limited is hereby directed to consider and decide the proposal of Petitioners, dated 10th April 2023 on its own merits, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if same is not decided till date.

All contentions and submissions of parties are expressly kept open.
