By way of this petition, the petitioners are challenging the judgment and order dated 09.03.2026 passed by the learned Commissioner of State Excise, Mumbai and order dated 18.07.2024 in proceedings bearing No. CLR/112024/880/1231 rendered by the learned District Collector (State Excise), Sangli, 2.
The learned counsel for the petitioners has pressed into service only prayer that, in the event, the concerned Authority is directed to decide the pending issue within a period of four weeks from today, this petition may be disposed of accordingly.

The learned AGP submits that the Authority shall decide the matter within the stipulated timeframe.

In view of the above submissions and without commenting on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the concerned Authority to adjudicate and decide upon the pending issue within a period of four weeks from today.
