The learned Advocate appearing for petitioner seeks permission to withdraw Writ Petition in view of law laid down by this Court in Writ Petition No.36/2023 (Jagdish Pitamber Pawar Vs. Pitamber Pundalik Pawar and Others decided on 29.11.2022), whereby this Court held that remedy of Appeal under Section 16 of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007 would be available even to children or relatives. 2.

In that view of matter, Writ Petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to avail alternate remedy as permissible under law.
