After arguing the matter for some time, Mr. Deshmukh, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks leave to withdraw the petition. However, he submits that the proposal dated 13th April 2026 submitted by respondent No.4 - Municipal Council, Mahabaleshwar, District Satara, be directed to be decided by the Directorate of Town Planning and Valuation Department, State of Maharashtra, Pune.

Mr. Narvankar, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.4, makes a similar request. He further makes the following statements: (i) The existing Court building shall not be demolished at this stage. (ii) He submits that, at present, only the existing administrative building, which is partly demolished, shall be demolished completely, and reconstruction of the said building shall be undertaken. (iii) Insofar as the existing Court building is concerned, the same shall be demolished only after the Court is relocated to the newly constructed building.

The aforesaid statements are accepted as an undertaking given by Mr. Yogesh Patil, Chief Officer of Municipal Council, Mahabaleshwar, District Satara.

Accordingly, the proposal dated 13th April 2026 submitted by respondent No.4 - Municipal Council, Mahabaleshwar, District Satara, is directed to be decided by the Directorate of Town Planning and Valuation Department, State of Maharashtra, Pune within a period of two months from today in accordance with law.

Mr. Deshmukh, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, states that an amount of Rs.5,00,000/-, which has been deposited in this Court pursuant to the order dated 28th April 2026, will be paid as a donation by the petitioner to the "Bombay High Court Kolhapur Bench Bar Association".

Accordingly, the writ petition is permitted to be withdrawn and disposed of as such, subject to above directions. In view of the disposal of the writ petition, the ad-interim relief granted earlier shall stand vacated forthwith.

The Registry of this Court to pay said amount of Rs.5,00,000/- deposited in this Court to "Bombay High Court Kolhapur Bench Association" expeditiously.
