In the present petition, the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner belongs to "Thakar/Scheduled Tribe" Caste. On the basis of this caste, the petitioner has secured appointment as a Junior Clerk at respondent No.3 - Institute against the Scheduled Tribe Category and presently working in the School. 3.

It is the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that as employer is now insisting him to submit the caste validity certificate for ZIP

75-WP-1425-2026 (C).doc moving his appropriate proposal for approval to the Educational Authorities. However, as the respondent No.2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee is not conducting verification of his caste claim, he approached before this Court.

In the light of the prayer made by the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is working on a post reserved for Scheduled Tribe Category, respondent No.2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee is hereby directed to decide the caste claim of the petitioner as early as possible and in any case, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of production of this Order.

All the issues raised by the petitioner are expressly kept open. 6.
