Present petition has been filed for direction to respondent No. 1 to decide the proposal dated 16.05.2024 forwarded by the office of respondent No. 3 in respect of permission of excavation of sand from private land.

Learned AGP waives notice for all respondents, and upon instructions from respondent No. 1, makes a statement that the said proposal forwarded by the office of respondent No. 3 would be decided within a period of eight weeks from today. The said statement is taken as undertaking.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing respondent No. 1 to decide the said proposal dated 16.05.2024 within a period of eight weeks from today.
