By this Writ Petition, the Petitioner has made a very limited prayer that he be granted the beneit of the Old Pension Scheme by considering his date of appointment as 4th March 1994 as a Part-Time Librarian. In this regards, the Petitioner has made representation through the Headmaster of the School to the Education Oicer (Secondary), Solapur on 29th April 2025.

It is the submission of the Petitioner that, in case he has been granted opportunity of hearing, he can place before the Education Oicer the relevant Judgments of this Court wherein it has been held that a Part-Time Librarian is entitled to pensionary beneits. Arjun 1 of

In view of this, the Education Oicer is directed to decide the pending representation dated 29th April 2025 on it's own merits by granting hearing opportunity to the Petitioner and pass a reasoned Order in the matter. This exercise shall be completed within a period of 8 weeks.

It is made clear that we have not made any observations on merits and all the issues are kept open to be considered by the Education Oicer.
