DATE : 29.04.2026 PER COURT :- .
The matter was kept today to get clarification in respect of rental compensation. It would not be out of place to mention here that, in view of order dated 6th April 2026, the cheque of Rs.9,84,273/- was deposited by the respondent and it has been disbursed to the petitioner. Now, it is in respect of rental compensation. An undertaking has been given by Mr. Satish Harikisan Soni, Deputy Collector (MPID), Collector Office, Beed and Incharge Sub Divisional Officer, Beed by giving a chart stating that the rental compensation to which the petitioner is entitled to is Rs.15,33,835/-. An undertaking has been given that the Deponent should arrange for the said amount within a period of six weeks from today.
( 2 ) 901 WP 1940 OF 2026 2.
Here, we are not giving any finding as to whether the said calculation is correct or not, but it is our endeavor that the petitioner should receive the amount which is due in view of the acquisition of his land. Now, the State has come up with a statement that the amount of Rs.15,33,835/- is the amount which the petitioner is entitled to receive towards rental compensation. The State should pay the same and in view of the undertaking, it should be arranged by respondent No.3 within a period of six weeks from today, either from the Acquiring Body i.e. respondent No.4 or from the State Exchequer. The petitioner has given his own calculation and therefore, we would decide the ultimate figure to which the petitioner is entitled under both heads i.e. rental compensation as well as under Section 80 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. With these observations, the said undertaking is taken on record now. 4.
Place the matter for further consideration on 19.06.2026. 5.
We hope that there would be compliance in between this period by the respondents.
