Oral Order (Per Abasaheb D. Shinde, J.) :

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.P. for the respondents.

By this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking expeditious disposal of his tribe claim of belonging to "Mannervarlu" Scheduled Tribe, which is pending with the respondent Scrutiny Committee since 20.06.2014.

During pendency of the tribe claim of petitioner, the employer of the petitioner has issued show-cause notice to the petitioner calling upon the petitioner to submit the validity certificate, failing which by way of adverse action the petitioner will be placed under supernumerary post. In that view of the matter, we direct the respondent Scrutiny Committee to decide

(2) 933 WP-1941.2026.odt the tribe claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within six months from today.

Till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided, the employer of the petitioner shall not take adverse action against the petitioner in the nature of placing the petitioner under supernumerary post.

We make it clear that the protection granted by this Court will operate only till the tribe claim of the petitioner is decided.

6.

Petitioner will not claim any equity.

7.

Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
