At the outset, the Petitioner has sought for correction in prayer clause (c) in Writ Petition by replacing the date '18.12.2026' by '18.12.2025'. The said correction shall be carried out by the Petitioner forthwith. 2.

Mr. Rodrigues, learned counsel appearing for Respondent Nos.3 to 6 has tendered the communication dated 26 February 2025 addressed by the Admission, Enrolment, Eligibility & Migration Department (AEM) to the Respondent No.7-Principal, IBSAR School of Law wherein reference has been made to the application dated 9 October 2025 for obtaining provisional statement of eligibility for transfer admission of the Petitioner to the Second Year B.A LLB (five years course) in the University for the year 1/3

The AEM has directed the Respondent No.7 that entire papers were sent to the concerned faculty experts for their opinion and the opinion received is that the Respondent No.7 has been found prima facie eligible for transfer admission of the Petitioner to the Second Year B.A LLB (five years course) in the University of Mumbai for the academic year 2021-2022 subject to condition that the Petitioner must appear and pass in subject of 1. Logic-I and 2. Legal Writing and Legal Language. 3.

It has been stated in the Writ Petition that the Petition has appeared in Logic-II subject in second year course and Legal Language subject in third year course of the IBSAR School of Law.

Mr. Rodrigues, learned counsel appearing for Respondent Nos.3 to 6 shall take instructions from the concerned AEM particularly in light of the internal communication dated 21 February 2026 of AEM Department that the critical committee of AEM on 16 December 2025 has asked the student to give papers of the aforementioned subjects viz. 1. Logic-I and 2. Legal Writing and Legal Language. The instructions to be taken is considering that the Petitioner has already appeared for subsequent Logic-II subject in second year course and Legal Language subject in third year course of the IBSAR School of Law, whether the requirement of the student to give papers in the aforementioned two subjects can be waived for eligibility of the Petitioner for transfer the admission to Second Year B.A LLB (five years course) in the University of Mumbai for the academic year 2021-2022. 3 25-WP-2016-2026.doc further instruction required to be taken is that considering that the Petitioner having completed five years LLB course as well as the All India Bar Examination, whether this is also required to be taken into consideration for waiver of requirement of the Petitioner appearing for the aforesaid two subject examinations.

The Writ Petition shall accordingly placed on 27 February 2026 on the Supplementary Board.
