Having heard learned counsel for the parties, a workable arrangement has been arrived at by consent of the parties, which is as under :- 2.

In view of Respondent No. 2 - the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine having received the recommendation of the Committee constituted on 5 December 2025, to deal with the grievance raised, inter alia, by the Petitioner regarding the applicability of the 2024 Regulations Mayur

912-WP-2046-2026 (C).doc which is the subject matter of this petition, and as the matter is under consideration before the Commission, the Commission shall take a decision on whether to accept the recommendation of the Committee within a period of four weeks from today.

In the meantime, the Application of the Petitioner for permission to continue the BAMS course for the academic year 2026-27 shall be processed independently and is made subject to the outcome of the aforesaid decision. The decision taken by Respondent No. 2 shall not be acted upon for a period of two weeks thereafter. 4.

We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of the present writ petition, and the rights and contentions of the parties herein are expressly kept open.

As this is a consent/workable order passed in the peculiar facts and circumstances, it shall not be treated as a precedent. 6.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of in the above terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
