By this Writ Petition, the Petitioner is seeking a direction to the Respondent No.2 - Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to allow the Petitioner to participate in counselling/admission process in Stray Vacancy Round and further rounds conducted by the Respondent MCC for NEET-PG2025 under OBC - PwD category with a further direction to Respondent No.4 - Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai to examine the Petitioner and accordingly issue necessary disability certificate. 2.

We have been informed that the registration qua the Stray vacancy round is from 16 February 2026 to 19 February 2026. 3.

Considering the urgency, the parties including the Respondent Authorities, are aggreable to the Petitioner to be medically examined by Pallavi 1/2

The Respondent No.4 - Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals shall conduct medical examination for determining the disability which the Petitioner claims to suffer from, as required under the OBC - PwD category, so as to ascertain whether the Petitioner is eligible to apply under the OBC - PwD category. Such medical examination shall be conducted today i.e. 12 February 2026 or at least latest by tomorrow i.e. 13 February 2026 morning and the report shall be submitted to this Court in a sealed cover by 16 February 2026 at 11.00 am by Respondent No.4 - Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals.

We place the Writ Petition for further direction on 16 February 2026. 6.
